As an artist, I have a particular leaning in favour of meadows, woodland and seascapes. I delight in shifting the palette to emphasise the varying temperatures of hue in a landscape; part of the fun in art is to play with different moods of day and follow the seasons of the year.
I like to adopt a bold and expressive approach that is yet coupled with the realities I observe: for me, impressionism is to realism what poetry is to prose – together, they comprise a harmony unique to each artist.
